Dr Julia Tan is a Consultant in Obstetrics & Gynaecology at Sincere Healthcare Group. She holds accreditation as an IVF Specialist by the Singapore Ministry of Health. 

Prior to leaving for private practice, Dr Julia was a Specialist in the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology, KK Women’s & Children’s Hospital.

Dr Julia Tan completed her Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery degrees (MBChB) with Honours at Liverpool Women’s Hospital, one of the UK’s largest maternity and gynaecology units.

She worked alongside many internationally-renowned Obstetricians and Gynecologists during this time. Later, she returned to Singapore to pursue further advanced specialist training at KK Women’s and Children’s Hospital and Singapore General Hospital.

Dr Julia has extensive experience in maternal-fetal medicine for high-risk pregnancies and reproductive medicine for subfertility issues. In addition to fertility screening, she specializes in managing early pregnancy, abnormal menses bleeding, endometriosis, uterine fibroids.

As a woman and a mother, Dr. Tan understands that visiting a gynecologist can be overwhelming. Her empathy for patients’ concerns and care for their well-being is essential for a successful partnership between doctors and patients. Besides educating patients, she involves them in medical decision-making.

While not caring for patients, Dr. Tan enjoys spending time with her husband and son. Besides serving the community, she mentors the next generation. As an active volunteer, Dr. Tan works with children reading below their academic level. In order to contribute positively to their homes and communities, she hopes to build kids’ confidence and literacy skills.

Dr Julia Tan is also a member of the prestigious Royal College of Obstetrics and Gynaecology (UK) and is a specialist accredited by the Singapore Ministry of Health. The Medical Councils of Malaysia, the UK, and Singapore have recognized her extensive work and research.

Besides publishing in many international journals, Dr. Tan has also presented her research at numerous local and international scientific conferences, in the UK, Spain, Australia, and Japan, where she achieved success and recognition.
